Mohammad Hossein Niksokhan is Professor in Faculty of Environment, University of Tehran, Iran. He received his PhD in Water Engineering-Civil Engineering from the School of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran. He holds a Master of Science in Water Engineering-Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Irrigation and Drainage Engineering from the University of Tehran with distinguished honors.
He has over 20 years of experience in the field of water resource management and river engineering. His current research interest focuses on water quality and quantity management, water quality trading, application of game theories and other social models in water management, optimization models in water and wastewater allocation, surface and groundwater simulation models and sediment transport.
